Lady Louise Windsor marked Remembrance Sunday at her university campus in Scotland, with the royal's emotional appearance sparking praise from proud fans. Lady Louise, who celebrated her 22nd birthday on November 8, is the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh's only daughter - and 17-year-old James, Earl of Wessex's older sister.
Whilst her parents joined King Charles and Queen Camilla at the Cenotaph yesterday in London, the royal made sure to mark the sombre day in her own way with her university pals - including her rumoured boyfriend Felix. It has been reported that she holds the rank of Officer Cadet in the Army Reserve, which she fits around her final year of English degree studies.
Lady Louise can be seen in newly-released pictures sporting military attire as she joined her fellow cadets in the St Andrews Regiments' Day Parade. Highlighting the serious nature of her commitment during the national period of Remembrance, Lady Louise wore a belted army jacket and beret, with a poppy pinned to her breast pocket.
A source told HELLO!: "It was a very sombre affair. Lady Louise's serious demeanour reflects the sombre nature of the procession. She was incredibly committed and professional throughout."
This is the first time Lady Louise has been photographed participating in the annual event. She wasn't present for the Remembrance celebrations last year.
Fans took to the publication's Instagram post to praise the royal, with one writing: "She's a fantastic role model for the rest of the Royal Family".
Another commented, "[clapping-hands emoji] brilliant role model", whilst a third added, "Wow love this [red-heart emoji]".
While not much is known about her rumoured boyfriend, who has been spotted a number of times with Louise, he proved himself to be a supportive partner as he cheered her on from the sidelines.
Felix was spotted by the royal's side at the National Carriage Driving Championships at the Ashfields Carriage and Polo Club back in August. Throughout the day's events, which saw Louise win bronze, Felix was seen cheering her on and filming parts of the competition.
