Mo Gilligan 'engaged to pregnant girlfriend' just weeks after secret son claims

Mo Gilliganhas reportedly popped the question to his pregnant girlfriend just weeks after being hit with "deadbeat dad" claims. The Masked Singer judge is said to now be engaged to partner Taia Tulher.

It comes after his ex Selina Christoforou posted an explosive video on TikTok where she claimed he already has a child but is a "deadbeat dad". She claimed she knows how few times the star has met his son Rudi and insisted you "can't make someone be a dad".

While Mo stayed silent on the claims,he appeared to hit back at Selina with a post featuring Rudi. He had not previously revealed to the public he had a child.

Mo is expecting a child with now-fiancée Taia, who has been seen wearing a ring on her wedding finger in recent pictures.

“Mo went the full nine yards in proposing to Taia but kept quiet about it publicly. They have been telling friends that they are engaged and everyone is really happy for them.

“He and Taia are so in love and really excited to be starting a family together. They already live together in London so it felt like the natural next step to get engaged," a source told the Sun.

They added that the couple have no "immediate" plans for their wedding as their baby will "keep their hands full".

Mo's son with ex Selina was born in January 2024, and the model claimed she could "count on her fingers and toes" how many times the TV star has seen their child over the last 17 months.

At the start of August, Mo decided to share his first video of his son but decided to keep the boy's identity hidden. However, he did include a very telling song alongside the clip.

He paired it with Emotionless by Drake, which featured the lyrics: "I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world / I was hidin’ the world from my kid.

"From empty souls, who just wake up and look to debate / Until you starin’ at your seed, you can never relate, Breakin’ news in my life, I don’t run to the blogs / The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call,

"They always ask, why let the story run if it’s false? /You know, a wise man once said nothin’ at all." It is thought Mo and ex Selina met online.

"But she wanted to have the baby, despite the fact they weren’t actually a couple. She adores their son and Mo sees him semi-regularly. Now he’s about to become a dad for a second time and he’s over the moon. He has been with Taia for quite a long time now and he feels ready to settle down.”

Selina hit out at Mo in a viral post as she fumed: "I just finally posted on Instagram about my son's dad so for your information, if you don't follow my Instagram I don't blame you. Um, Mo Gilligan is his dad. Very much in quotation marks."

She said she thinks things will get better for her "unbelievable" son. However, she said she understands you "can't make someone be a dad" and said Mo had made it very clear he wasn't wanting to be a dad.
