Jadon Sancho romance with huge singer 'revealed' as he escapes Man United with Villa loan

Footballer Jadon Sancho has appeared to have confirmed his relationship with singer and rapper Saweetie after months of speculation. The two were first spotted together for the first time in January this year after she visited his football home of Stamford Bridge.

Jadon, 25, and Saweetie, 32, were pictured meeting one another with a hug as she was seen beaming from ear to ear. Fans were left confused over the rapper’s sighting as she had never shown any signs of being a fan of Chelsea FC which led to speculation over her dynamic with Jadon.

Adding further fuel to the fire, a picture was taken of Jadon with his teammates and the lock screen on his phone was none other than Saweetie, all but confirming the unexpected romance.

Neither Jadon or Saweetie have confirmed the relationship and appear to be keeping their cards close to their chests when it comes to their love lives. The couple’s relationship seems to be getting serious though as he unveiled a tattoo in her honour.

On August 14, the sports star’s tattooist revealed the pair had visited his studio to get two tattoos. He shared a snap of the two as she admires his new tattoo behind his ear.

He penned: “Just wanna show our appreciation to you and your girlfriend.” Jadon got Saweetie’s middle name, Quiava engraved below his left ear as well as the words, “her only” on his hand.

Mirror have contacted Jadon and Saweetie’s reps for comment.

News of his love life comes after Jadon was signed on loan for Aston Villa after four years at Manchester United with Villa paying 80 per cent of his £200,000 a week wages.

The percentage of this loan fee will depend on Jadon’s performance out on the pitch. The left winger turned down Roma in the window and was also said to be a target for Juventus and Besiktas.

Villa confirmed the exciting news with a statement that read: “Aston Villa is delighted to announce the signing of Jadon Sancho from Manchester United. The England international joins Villa on a season-long loan."

Meanwhile, Saweetie, whose real name is Diamonte Quiava Valentin Harper, has seen her own career in the music industry go from strength to strength.

After joining the music world back in 2016, she’s gone platinum with several singles, including Icy Girl, My Type and Best Friend. Her breakout hit Icy Girl in 2017 became a viral success, garnering over 110 million views on YouTube and solidifying her presence in the rap scene.

She signed a major deal with Warner Bros. Records (Now Warner Records) in 2018 and has become a huge name on social media after lockdown with a big hype around her on TikTok and Instagram.

Her debut album, Pretty B**** Music is all set to release this year after previously scheduled to come out in 2021 but it being postponed after she wanted to “reconstruct” some songs.
