Emmerdalefans have rumbled that Mackenzie Boyd is still very much alive - after a telling comment by Charity Dingle. Mack was seemingly killed by villain John Sugden as he attacked him with a bow and arrow.
Mack was considered to be dead after John attacked him for finding the truth about his past and what happened to Nate. However, fans have been suspicious about whether or not he really is alive.
There has not been an official goodbye from Lawrence Robb, who plays Mack, prompting fans to be convinced he is still alive. And we didn't see a dead body - which is soap speak for a return being on the cards.
Tonight, Charity Dingle was adamant that the baby she was carrying was not Mackenzie's, which one fan says proves that Mack is still alive and will make a big return to the village in the coming days or weeks.

One fan theorised on Reddit: "Before today, my theory was that Mack would only die if it turned out that charity was carrying his baby. As in, Mack would be discovered as dead then later charity would find out that the baby was his.
"Distraught, she would refuse to give the baby up to Sarah- as Mack always wanted a baby with her. This would then obviously lead to a feud/issues between charity and Sarah, which would make great tv. However Charity's "I know for sure its not his" today implies that they didn't sleep together at all so the baby couldn't be his, therefore, it seems somewhat pointless to kill off Mack."
Another fan suggested: "I also have a feeling that Mack isn’t dead. The body in the van could have been Anthony, perhaps he was moving it to another location, because he was leaving the village and wanted it to remain well hidden. It may also explain why John was talking about Anthony to Aaron, ‘do you think we had the right’… perhaps it was on his mind because he’d just dug up his corpse."
Lawrence has not spoken out since his character's 'death' aired - but he did previously open up about a potential exit. Before the scenes aired, he said: "There are lots of rumours, and rumours they shall remain", before adding: "I've always said that being in the show that I never want to be too prescriptive with it. I've always enjoyed doing what I'm doing.
"If, and when, the time to leave comes, whether that would be my choice or the choice of the producers, then I will be thankful for the time that I've had. Ultimately, no one is safe in the show. Especially not in that village!"
